I couldn't be happier with my new skis from Gilson. I ordered late in the season so I only got a few days on them but it just makes me that much more excited for next season to start. The ski is an all around ride, just like I wanted. The custom graphics with Gilson' tattoo series brings me so much flippin joy, not to mention many others on the mountain who asked if they can take pictures of them. So much fun!!!!

Bought a powder board and a set of all mountain skis, quality is great and way cooler than your cookie cutter boards you buy at the local board shop. These guys are dope and I even got a note from one of the workers on a piece of scrap wood from the build. Super rad company and well worth the wait

I recently ordered a pair of one-of-a-kind Gilson Trippy Draws Skis for my daughter's XMAS present. Gilson was terrific in terms of keeping me informed every step of the way from order to production stage to shipping. When my daughter opened the skis, her reaction was priceless: "No way, these are so freaking cool, where did you get these?!!!" She then needed to get boots & bindings and when she dropped the skis off at a local ski shop, ALL of the workers were also freaking out because they had never seen such cool skis. Anyway, now she's had a chance to take them out to the mountain and she absolutely loves how they perform, and she also loves how she gets noticed by other skiers by how cool they look. I highly recommend Gilson for anyone!

Really cool Tampa Bay Lightning graphics on top and base of skis, great ride, nice pow and all-mountain boards. Only improvement would be a tip guard/protector and upper sidewall protection from slices and cuts.

Gilson may have started as a board maker, but their skis are awesome! I'm on my third season with them and love them! I've got the all mountain ski and they are truly all mountain. I've skied deep powder, bumps and hardpack. They handle all of them well. I like them so much, I bought my son a pair.

Purchased custom designed skis as a birthday present and tribute to my boy's father who passed away. Everyone at Gilson that we worked with was extremely kind and helpful. Communications (both via phone and email) were answered promptly. The final design is beautiful and brought big smiles. Shout out to Nick and the team when I purchased my Custom Ski's last year! Nick spent awhile on the phone with me discussing what size ski and width I should get, and his creative artist was very patient and did a great job bringing my vision to life ! I've been itching to use the ski's, but we just haven't had enough snow this year, but i'm sure they'll be used and loved very well when I do use them <3 Thanks, guys !

Just got back from Mad River Glen VT. Sorry no snow boards allowed. As a skier who started skiing back in the 70's with straight skis I have seen a lot of advancements in skis over the years. Being in the wood industry, living in Pennsylvania and knowing that Gilson is using sustainable wood products I became very interested in what they are doing. I got a pair of 173 all mountain skis with riptorch graphics, which supported the Wildland Firefighter Efforts. I don't get a lot of time on the mountains but these skis are awesome. The 3D edges make catching an edge much less likely and they are the most versatile skis I have had. From carving turns, cruising on easy slopes, to going through moguls they just make skiing more fun.

They are incredibly responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable, showing a genuine interest in designing the best possible skis and boards for my group. They love what they do and they do it well! Have been using my Gilson skis for two years now, they are awesome. Great for groomed slopes, but also perfect for powder days! Had about 8 inches in Keystone and was able to go to take advantage of the new lift and back bowls! Awesome equipment and people at Gilson!!

I was at an event where Gilson was a sponser. I had never heard of them before since I am new to skiing. I was in the market to get new skis and purchased a pair from Gilson. The order process was easy and skis came in about 2 weeks. I was unsure of what type of binding to put on them, so I contacted Gilson and they emailed me recommendations. Riding these skis are amazing! You can tell that these are made to order with the utmost respect in making skis. Not to mention that the graphics are beautiful as well. If your looking for top notch customer service, great craftmanship and aesthetically looking skis, this is the company for you!

The team at Gilson were extremely responsive to my requests while I was shopping for new skis. They not only accommodated a certain width I wanted my skis in, they actually accommodated a specific ship date so they wouldn't arrive at my house while I was traveling for work. When I went to take my skis in to my shop to get bindings mounted, I emailed Gilson a question on mounting specifications. It was in the evening and they responded in minutes! I'm a PA native living in Colorado and I just skied a tremendous amount of powder at Steamboat the last 2 days. The skis felt amazing and in no time felt comfortable to take them into trees and glades. I'm definitely a fan!

I called to see if they had a tune-up shop and could not believe how helpful Nick was. He guided me through buying a used pair of skis and the pros and cons of buying new ones. In the end, I went with the used skis. I never write reviews, but I am so grateful for his help. I think it really, really says a lot about a business when they give you advice that won't directly benefit them. I think this place is such a gem and we are truly lucky to have them and their investment in the local region.
